Paradise is a state of mind and is spelled differently for everybody. Using vibrant, passionate and relaxing colors, Richard creates a paradise on every canvas in his “Paradise Series”. Each piece is purposely left incomplete so that you can paint yourself into it. A fish net hammock, suspended between two palm trees, blows slowly to and fro in the warm tropical breeze. Beneath the hammock are two pair of shoes and “Dos Cervesas”. Close by, a dolphin breaches the water. The only thing missing is you. Close your eyes, lie back in the hammock and let the warm breeze lull you to sleep. Richard beckons you to make his paradise, your paradise. All you have to do is just close your eyes.
